Pharmacy Assistant

Dispensing of drugs and patient counselling on medication use.

• Monitoring and ensuring adequate stock level (to avoid out of stock and overstocking)
• Monitoring drug expiration dates.
• Carrying out routine medical checks such as blood pressure measurement, blood glucose, malaria test and BMI.
• Maintaining proper inventories and ordering of drugs.
• Verification of deliveries and costing.
• Drive the process of collecting data of customers who visit the pharmacy.
• Ensure that controlled drugs and poisons register of the pharmacy are properly kept.
• Ensure that assigned shelves are kept clean while ensuring prompt disposal of all waste generated in the pharmacy
