House Manager

Job Summary

We are looking for a professional House Manager who will be responsible for supervising other staff members and day-to-day operation of the residence.

Job Description/Requirements

Responsibilities:

• Manages the house and ensure safety rules and guidelines are adhered to.
• Keep track of employees shifts.
• Ensure all staff abide by the rules and regulation of the management.
• Inform management of materials needed when necessary.
• Create roaster for cleaning of apartment.
• Ensure building entrance is free of clutter at all times.
• Report damages and monitor repairs.
• Maintain stock of cleaning supplies.
• Comply with health and safety regulations.
• Follow evacuation rules in case of emergency.
• Handle issues that might arise between inmates.
• Managing the day-to-day operations of the facility and staff members as needed.
• Making sure the interior of the house is maintained.
• Maintaining inventory of all furnishings and equipment in the house, including ordering replacements when needed.
• Supervising daily housekeeping and maintenance staff to ensure that the facility is well-kept at all times.
• Delegate task and motivate your team to complete them.
• Maintain the cleanliness, organization, and safety of the household at all times.
• Schedule and oversee necessary repairs and renovations when necessary.
• Serve as a liaison between the company and the employees.

Requirements:

• Minimum academic qualification of OND in Hospitality and Leisure related discipline.
• Minimum of 2 years experience in a managerial role.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work well under pressure and multitask.
• Good physical condition, stamina and strength.
• Familiarity with security systems and procedures.
• Solid verbal communication skills to interact with people.
• Basic leadership, problem-solving and organizational skills.
