Microbiologist

Key Requirements

HND / B.Sc. in Microbiology.

3–5 years of relevant experience in microbiology, preferably within a manufacturing or laboratory environment.

Knowledge of microbiological techniques, laboratory equipment, and aseptic practices.

Familiarity with Good Laboratory Practices (GLP), quality control standards, and safety protocols.

Experience with SAP system is an added advantage.

Key Responsibilities

Monitor, supervise, and validate cleaning and disinfection of operational equipment and environment, ensuring hygiene conformance before production startup.

Monitor and enforce performance hygiene compliance within the operational environment.

Conduct microbiological analysis on all incoming raw materials (RM), finished goods (FG), retention, and incubation samples, and provide management with recommendations based on results.

Carry out proper documentation of analysis results on hard copy and ensure data entering into SAP system.

Ensure adherence to laboratory safety protocols and Good Laboratory Practices (GLP).

Perform any other duties as may be duly assigned by management.
