About the Role
Our client, a fast-growing creative venture studio and talent investment firm, is seeking a dynamic Head of Marketing, Brands & Partnerships to lead marketing strategy, brand growth, and partnership development. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in marketing, partnerships, and brand storytelling within the creative, entertainment, or tech industries. This role requires someone who blends strategic thinking, cultural insight, and execution excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the company’s overall marketing strategy across digital, experiential, and cultural touchpoints.
- Build and maintain a consistent, powerful brand identity.
- Oversee marketing for internal and creator-led projects (music, content, merchandise, live experiences).
- Lead creative direction and storytelling across social, PR, and digital platforms.
- Identify and secure brand partnerships, sponsorships, and collaborations aligned with company goals.
- Build relationships with agencies, entertainment firms, record labels, and lifestyle brands.
- Negotiate and manage partnership agreements that deliver measurable value.
- Work with talent teams to develop creator brand strategies and monetization models.
- Lead the creation of partnership materials (proposals, decks, sponsorship packages).
- Track partnership performance, brand reach, and revenue outcomes.
Requirements
5–8 years of experience in marketing, brand partnerships, or business development (preferably in music, fashion, media, or tech).Proven record of leading successful campaigns or partnerships.Deep understanding of African youth culture, entertainment, and the creator economy.Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.Strong leadership ability with a collaborative mindset.Proficiency in digital marketing tools, CRM platforms, and analytics.Strategic thinker with creative flair and attention to detail.Available to start immediately.
