About the Role :

At One Acre Fund Nigeria, we put farmers first. Our mission is to make high-quality agricultural products accessible, affordable, and reliably available in rural communities. Through our unique “pod” model, we bring farm inputs closer to smallholder farmers, enabling them to grow more, earn more, and build lasting prosperity.

Responsibilities :

Sales : Drive Sales and demand by engaging directly with farmers, agro-dealers, and communities to identify needs, aggregate orders, and support promotional campaigns.

Order Fulfillment : Ensure timely and accurate delivery of products, keeping farmers updated on order status.

Customer Experience : Provide responsive, farmer-friendly support throughout the sales process.

Inventory Management : Track stock levels, conduct regular counts, and prevent shortages at the pod level.

Community Engagement : Build strong relationships with farmers, local leaders, and stakeholders; gather feedback to improve services.

Reporting & Data : Maintain accurate sales and client records; provide regular updates to supervisors.

Innovation & Improvement : Suggest new ideas to improve fulfillment, streamline operations, and expand farmer reach.

Requirements

Across all roles, these are the general qualifications we look for . For this role specifically, you will have :

Education : NCE / BSc / HND in any relevant field. preferably in Agriculture or related fields

Experience : Prior experience in agricultural sales, distribution, retail, or community engagement is a strong plus.

Experience implementing projects at the field level

Technical Skills :

Sales and negotiation ability

Proficient computer literacy for reporting and tracking

Soft Skills :

Results-driven and proactive

High integrity and accountability

Adaptable and open to innovation

Comfortable working with diverse communities

Strong communication and relationship-building skills

Organisational skills with attention to detail

Language Skills

Strong fluency in English is required

Ability to speak the local language peculiar to the location is highly desirable, e.g, Hausa, Yoruba, Nupe, Obi, Alago, e.t.c

Location

Availability to live in the community / state where the role is open.

Compensation

In line with the job level.

One Acre Fund provides employees with a percentage of their basic salaries for housing allowance and child support.

Retirement savings : OAF contributes 10%, and you contribute 8% of your basic salary to your retirement savings account.

One Acre Fund also provides monthly reimbursements to cover work-related expenses, including transportation and airtime.

Relocation support is not available for this position.

Please note : The role is fully onsite, and  OAF will not provide relocation support.

Requirements

For this role specifically, you will have : Education : Higher National Diploma, preferably in Agriculture or related fields Experience : 1-2 years of relevant work experience Experience implementing projects at the field level Skills : Technical Skills : Basic knowledge of Google Tools - Docs, Slides, GSheet Advanced numeracy and literacy skills Basic report writing skills Soft Skills : Experience in management or team leadership Takes initiative to enhance work efficiency and skills Work planning skills Decision-making skills Problem-solving skills Communication skills Fluency in English and Hausa is required Fluency in the local language of work locations - Nupe, Gbagyi, is desirable Language Skills
