Job description

As Sales Manager, you’ll be the driving force behind high-value client acquisition, strategic business development, and revenue growth. You won’t just close deals, you’ll build long-term relationships with corporates, HNIs, and aggregators, shaping how they experience our clients. Along the way, you’ll also have the opportunity to mentor a sales team and play a pivotal role in building a scalable sales engine that transforms how we reach and serve our clients.

Your responsibilities…

Strategic Business Development

  • You will identify and close opportunities with high-value clients, including corporates, HNIs, and aggregators
  • You will build partnerships and strategic alliances to expand our client’s market presence
  • You will represent our clients at industry events, conferences, and key networking forums
  • Revenue Growth & Target Achievement

  • You will own and exceed monthly and quarterly revenue targets
  • You will develop and refine sales strategies that maximize pipeline, conversion, and deal flow
  • You will provide detailed sales forecasts, pipeline insights, and market intelligence to leadership
  • Client Relationship Leadership

  • You will serve as the escalation point for top-tier client accounts, ensuring seamless service delivery
  • You will collaborate with product and operations teams to reflect client needs in our client’s offerings
  • You will anticipate market trends and proactively engage clients with timely solutions
  • Team Leadership & Coaching

  • You will mentor and coach Sales Executives to sharpen performance and achieve team goals
  • You will collaborate with leadership to recruit, onboard, and develop new sales talent
  • You will foster a culture of accountability, learning, and results within the sales function
  • To be considered, you should have...

  • 5+ years’ experience in business development, enterprise sales, or relationship management
  • At least 2 years handling senior-level clients or managing a portfolio of corporates / HNIs
  • Proven history of closing complex, high-value deals and exceeding revenue targets
  • Strong commercial acumen with experience in crafting go-to-market strategies
  • Established network within Nigeria’s financial and B2B environment
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Experience mentoring or leading teams (formally or informally)
  • Ability to work independently and make data-driven decisions
