Responsibilities :
Perform month-end account closing activities and journal entries as well as variance analysisComplete bank reconciliationsMaintain and update balance sheet account reconciliations supporting GAAP compliancePost loan-related activity and reconcile to third-party reportingPrepare and post Accounts Receivable activitySupport external audits in compiling reports, schedules, and conducting researchRespond to investor inquiries and research and resolve variances timelyDevelop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controlsWork with multiple fund administrators to reconcile positions, P&L, and cash breaksPerform daily book vs broker cash reconciliation.Requirements :
Minimum academic qualification of a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or FinanceAt least 2 years of strong general ledger experienceMust be results-oriented, able to manage timelines and proactively communicate with various team membersMeticulous attention to detail, accuracy, and drive to deliver high-quality workStrong Excel and Microsoft Office skills requiredStrong written and verbal communication skillsComfortable in a fast-paced and collaborative work environmentExperience in the financial services industry is a plusExperience with account software ie Xero or core banking ledgerAbility to work effectively and efficiently in a remote environment.Work Type : Remote
