Job Description

• We are looking for an experienced and proactive Facility Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations, maintenance, safety, and functionality of our facilities.
• The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that the facility remains safe, clean, functional, and well-maintained while coordinating vendors, maintenance teams, and service providers effectively.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the daily operations and maintenance of the facility.
• Ensure that all facilities, equipment, utilities, and building systems are properly maintained.
• Coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance activities.
• Supervise and coordinate facility staff, technicians, cleaners, security personnel, and external contractors where applicable.
• Manage relationships with vendors, contractors, and service providers.
• Monitor maintenance schedules and ensure timely repairs.
• Conduct regular inspections to identify maintenance, safety, and operational issues.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Monitor facility-related expenses and assist with budget management.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, equipment, inspections, and repairs.
• Respond promptly to facility emergencies and operational issues.
• Ensure the facility is clean, secure, and conducive for employees and visitors.
• Recommend improvements that will enhance facility efficiency and reduce operational costs.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree / HND qualification in Facility Management, Estate Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant facility management experience.
• Strong knowledge of building maintenance, facility operations, and safety procedures.
• Excellent vendor and contractor management skills.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and respond effectively to emergencies.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Relevant professional certification in Facility Management will be an added advantage.
