Job Summary

The Business Development Strategist is responsible for developing and executing growth strategies that increase market share, revenue, and profitability for Orleans. This role will work closely with the Managing Director, and other members of the executive team to create and implement plans that support the company’s overall business objectives

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute business development plans in order to achieve assignedtargets for new customer acquisition and revenue growth
  • Research and build relationships withpotential customers, partners, and investors
  • Create and deliver presentations to internal and external audiences
  • Negotiate and close deals with customers,partners, and investors
  • Manage the sales pipeline and forecast salesactivity and revenue
  • Work with cross-functional teams to developand launch new products and services
  • Conduct market research and analysis toidentify new business opportunities
  • Develop and maintain relationships with keyindustry stakeholders
  • Stay up to date on industry trends anddevelopments
  • Attend trade shows, conferences, and otherevents on behalf of the company
  • Write proposals, business plans, and othermarketing materials
  • Perform other duties as assigned
  • Requirements :

  • A bachelor’s degree or equivalent;
  • Ability to persuade others to change theirminds and behavior, and to give full attention to what other people are saying;
  • Ability to be aware of others’ reactions andunderstand why they react as they do;
  • Ability to take initiative (Job requires a willingness to takeon responsibilities and challenges)
  • Ability to work Independently (Job requires developing one'sown ways of doing things, guiding oneself with little or no supervision, anddepending on oneself to get things done.
  • You must be able to establish and maintain personally challenging achievement goals andexerting effort toward mastering tasks.
  • Ability to persist in theface of obstacles.
  • Must be reliable,responsible, and dependable, and fulfilling obligations.
  • Negotiation- Having a tactical and genuine demeanor.
  • ComputerSkill- Proficient in CRM Software such as Zoho One, email management ,onlinemeeting tools e.t.c
