Job Summary

We are looking to hire a professional chef who would plan and create menu, supervise the culinary team and also prepare amazing dished

  • Minimum Qualification : Diploma
  • Experience Level : Entry level
  • Experience Length : 2 years

Job Description / Requirements

Responsibilities :

  • Plan and create menu.
  • Set up workstations with all needed ingredients and cookingequipment
  • Prepare ingredients to use in cooking (chopping and peelingvegetables, cutting meat etc.)
  • Supervision of other culinary workers and oversee therunning of a kitchen.
  • Cook food in various utensils
  • Check food while cooking to stir or turn
  • Ensure great presentation by dressing dishes before they are served
  • Keep a sanitized and orderly environment in the kitchen
  • Ensure all food and other items are stored properly
  • Check quality of ingredients
  • Monitor stock andplace orders when there are shortages

    Requirements :

    Good cooking skills for African dishes or intercontinental dishes (knowledge for both will be an advantage)

  • Experience in using cutting tools,cookware and bakeware
  • Knowledge of various cookingprocedures and methods (grilling, baking, boiling etc.)
  • Ability to follow all sanitationprocedures
  • Ability to work in a team
  • Good communication skills
  • Excellent physical condition andstamina
