Responsibilities :
Developing and implementing HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategyDocument control and record keepingBridging management and employee relations by addressing demands, grievances or other issuesinterpersonal skills, organizational skills, and writing skills.Assist in hiring and onboarding processesUpdate employee database with new hire informationUphold the company cultureCreate and maintain necessary HR documentsEnsuring the confidentiality and security of files and filing systemsCoordinating schedules, arranging meetings, distributing memos and reports and ensuring that everyone is kept current of necessary company news and informationImplement company policiesHandle payroll informationPrepare necessary HR reportsLiaise with business partners on employee mattersDeal with queries and complaints from employees and business partnersPerform other duties as assigned.Support current and future business needs through the development, engagement, motivation and preservation of human capitalDevelop and monitor overall HR strategies, systems, tactics and procedures across the organizationNurture a positive working environmentOversee and manage a performance appraisal system that drives high performanceMaintain pay plan and benefits programAssess training needs to apply and monitor training programsReport to management and provide decision support through HR metricsEnsure legal compliance throughout human resource managementHarmonizing company policies in line with world best practices and advising managementDevelop consistent and coordinated approach to the way in which the company engages with all staff.Manage and maintain all controlled company documentsUpdate and control procedure documents and formsCreate and manage document hierarchy and process systemsTake charge of all document identification, classification, and filingFrequently conduct document audits confirming they are current and accurately reflect recorded evidenceTrain employees in the company’s controlled document processes to ensure correct handling of documents from the ground upOversee document through its entire lifecycle (inception to archival)Check and edit incoming documents and prepare for distributionCreate document filing and organizing systems that are both effective and efficientEnsure proper organization and security of documents (paper and electronic)Log document requests and help retrieve documents as needed for employeesMake available, notify and distribute documents to relevant recipientsConfirm delivery of documents to proper personnelCollaborate and communicate with managers and project leadersCollate, generate, improve upon, package and submit all types of documents including but not limited to MS, QA QC, HSE, Commercial, Technical etc.Requirements :
A Degree in Human Resource Management or any other relevant related fieldAt least 3 years experience as HR / Admin OfficerFamiliarity with HR softwareKnowledge of labor laws in Nigeria and HR best practicesProficient in MS Office SuiteStrong communication and interpersonal skillsPeople-oriented and results-drivenDemonstrable experience with Human Resources metricsKnowledge of HR systems and databasesAbility to architect strategy along with leadership skillsExcellent active listening, negotiation, and presentation skillsCompetence to build and effectively manage interpersonal relationships at all levels of the company.
