Key Elements of the Role
- Report to the Head Business Development
- Identify new business opportunities, develop targeted sales strategies, and execute plans to achieve sales targets.
- Establish and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, partners
- Research and pursue new business opportunities through networking, cold calling, and other business development techniques
- Create and present compelling business proposals to customers and stakeholders.
- Work with sales, marketing, and product teams to drive business outcomes and achieve sales targets
- Manage existing customers and business relationships
- Respond to queries and requests from customers
- Developing sales and operational knowledge of all our products
- Meet assigned sales target (monthly, quarterly and annual)
- Maintain an updated database of customers, with their sales records
- Conducting follow-up activities with the aim of exceeding customers expectation
- Track and analyze sales performance, providing regular reporting and insights to inform business development strategies
- Stay up-to-date with market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs to inform business development strategies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive business outcomes
Requirements
Desired Skills & Experience
Minimum of Bachelor’s degree or HND in Marketing, Business Administration or a related field,Minimum of 5 years work experience in business development, sales, or marketing : Proven track record of driving business growth and meeting sales targetsProven related experience in a learning institution or consulting firm is an added advantageStrong business acumen and market insightKnowledge of local markets and ability to penetrate new marketsExcellent interpersonal & organizational skillsAbility to communicate in local dialect is an added advantageTarget-driveExcellent oral and written communication skillsInterested candidates that meet the requirements above should send their applications to [email protected] using the job role as subject of the mail.
