We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Head of Projects to lead and oversee turnkey projects from conceptualization to completion. The ideal candidate will possess extensive expertise in managing complex, multi-disciplinary projects, including civil, mechanical, and electrical installations, with a strong emphasis on validation and qualification processes. A sound understanding of modern technologies, manufacturing processes, and project management methodologies is essential.
Key Responsibilities :
Project Conceptualization & Planning :
- Develop project scope, objectives, timelines, and budgets in alignment with organizational goals.
- Ensure feasibility studies and risk assessments are conducted for all projects.
Execution & Management :
Oversee civil, mechanical, and electrical installations, ensuring adherence to quality, safety, and regulatory standards.Lead the coordination between cross-functional teams, contractors, and vendors to ensure seamless execution.Implement and monitor project schedules, milestones, and deliverables to ensure timely completion.Validation & Qualification :
Ensure that all projects meet industry standards and regulatory requirements through effective validation and qualification processes.Collaborate with quality assurance teams to certify installations and processes.Technology & Innovation :
Stay updated with the latest advancements in manufacturing technologies and incorporate them into project planning and execution.Drive innovation and cost efficiency without compromising quality or compliance.Stakeholder Management :
Act as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and reporting on project progress, risks, and resolutions.Manage vendor and contractor negotiations to ensure alignment with project goals.Budget & Resource Management :
Manage budgets for projects averaging INR 10 Cr+ (or equivalent), ensuring cost control and efficient allocation of resources.Monitor expenditures and identify cost-saving opportunities.Leadership & Team Development :
Lead and mentor project teams, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.Qualifications & Experience :
Education : Bachelor's / Master's degree in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, or Electrical preferred) or a related Minimum of 10 years in project management, with a proven track record of handling multiple large-scale projects (10 Cr+).
Extensive experience with turnkey projects, including civil, mechanical, and electrical installations.Hands-on experience with validation and qualification processes is essential.Exposure to FMCG, pharmaceuticals, or other manufacturing industries is highly desirable.Technical Expertise : In-depth knowledge of recent technologies, manufacturing processes, and regulatory standards.Certifications : PMP, PRINCE2, or similar project management certifications are a plus.Skills & Competencies :
