About Company : Our client is a bespoke furniture Manufacturing company redefining how people experience space through thoughtful design and sustainable craftsmanship

The company is seeking to hire a reliable, detail-oriented Project Assistant to support the operations coordination of the business. In this hands-on role, S / he will work closely with designers, craftsmen, and suppliers to ensure materials, schedules, and workflows stay on track—helping transform design concepts into high-quality finished products.

Key Responsibilities :

Production Coordination :

§   Assist in managing daily production schedules and work orders.

§   Track the status of ongoing jobs, flagging potential delays or bottlenecks.

§   Monitor the product assigned to the artisan, ensuring they comply with the specification.

§   Coordinate with the vendor to ensure the timely delivery of raw materials and components.

Quality Control Support :

§   Inspect incoming materials and finished parts for conformance to specifications.

§   Document any defects or discrepancies and liaise with relevant teams to resolve issues.

Workflow & Documentation :

§   Create and maintain 2D and 3D product specifications.

§   Update digital records on our production-tracking system.

§   Archive completed job files and maintain accurate inventory logs.

Cross-Functional Collaboration :

§   Liaise with design, clients, and artisans to clarify specifications.

§   Support logistics by packaging finished goods and coordinating shipment pickups.

Continuous Improvement :

§   Participate in feedback sessions and suggest process optimizations.

§   Help implement best practices.

§   Track basic production metrics (cycle time, yield) and report insights.

Special Projects & Ad Hoc Tasks :

§   Support with research, special project coordination, and any other assigned tasks.

§   Coordinate event logistics for virtual or in-person workshops and exhibitions.

Handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism

Requirements

Required Skills & Qualifications :

§   1-2 years of experience in a production, manufacturing, or workshop environment.

§   Proficiency in CAD for furniture.

§   Strong organizational skills and ability to track multiple jobs simultaneously.

§   Proficiency with MS Office (Excel for basic data tracking) and / or entry-level ERP use.

§   Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

§   Basic understanding of woodworking, metalwork, or upholstery processes.

§   Comfortable working in a fast-paced, hands-on shop environment.

Preferred Experience :

§   Familiarity with furniture manufacturing workflows.

§   Exposure to CAD / CAM processes.

§   Proactivity : Anticipates production needs and addresses issues before they escalate.

§   Problem-Solving : Identifies root causes of production hiccups and helps drive corrective action.

Benefits

Compensation : Base Pay ranges BTW N110,000 – N140,000 Monthly + Weekly allowance and other benefits
