Purpose

Responsible for the implementation of the sales capability development plan across both consumer and foodservice business units in an allocated sales region.

The Job

Ensure the execution of both on-the-job and classroom training interventions as defined in the sales capability plan within the allocated sales region.

Deploy identified performance metrics for each role in the sales team (including distributor sales staff) and continuous evaluation of the regional organization against these criteria.

Evaluate and test competencies of the regional sales force to identify skill gaps.

Work with the National Sales Capability Manager to drive the transfer of sales best practice from and into the allocated sales region.

Implement the agreed Train the Trainer activities in the region.

Undertake the on-boarding of all new Sales hires in the region.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Economics, Statistics, Finance, or a related field.

Certification in Business Analytics, Data Science, or CRM tools.

Experience :

Five years sales experience gained in a major FMCG blue chip organization.

Strong field sales experience is a must.

The Person Must :

Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.

Ability to analyze sales data and interpret trends to identify opportunities and make informed decisions.

Ability to adapt to changing market conditions and adjust their strategies as needed.

Ability to develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve regional sales targets.
