Job descriptionEnsures prompt completion and rendition of bi-annual Risk and Control Self Assessment(RCSAs) and monthly Key Risk Indicators (KRIs) Monitor the implementation of actions plans to address key risks identified from RCSAs, KRIs and reported loss incidents Provides support to departments within the business unit in the identification of operational risk issues, and designing controls to mitigate risk identified. Performs root cause analyses on identified risk events and recommends controls to be implemented to prevent these risk events from re-occurring Report all threats to Business Continuity and ensure that contingency plans to developed to address key business key business continuity risk identified Assist with preparing periodic reports to EXCO and the Board and such other reports that may be required from time to time
Requirements
- First degree in a Business related course, Economics, Accounting or Engineering. Masters in relevant field of study and professional qualification is an advantage.
- Minimum of 5 years’ work experience in Risk Management in Financial Sector or FMCG sector.
