BE in Mechanical Engineering from well reputed universities. Ideally having 7-10 years of experience within well-established contracting companies in Lebanon or in the Gulf or in Africa.
Proficient in HVAC system design and calculations, including chillers, AHUs, FCUs, VRF, DX systems, BS networks, ductwork, dampers, VAVs, etc.
Skilled in plumbing system design and calculations : cold / hot water systems, drainage (soil, waste, vent), stormwater systems, pumps, water tanks, water heaters, WTP, with good knowledge of sanitary wares and fittings.
Experienced in reviewing and verifying heat load calculations, air / water balancing, ventilation requirements, fire / smoke damper integration, Pipe Sizing, Flow & Pressure drop calculations…
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Excellent English Communication skills both Written and Verbal.
Skilled in use of AutoCAD software
Knowledge on Revit MEP
Reasonable knowledge about construction and designing principles
Based in Abuja.
Responsible for HVAC control systems, thermostat and VAV integration, and coordination of BMS integration with programmers, specialists, and electrical engineers.
Familiar with relevant Codes & Standards, ASHRAE, SMACNA, NFPA, ASME, local regulations ...
Capable of handling complete design, preparation of shop drawings, and material selection for small to mid-size projects.
Accountable for procurement take-offs in line with project specifications and responsible for timely procurement of mechanical equipment, fittings, accessories, and consumables.
Review and deliver project designs, specifications, drawings, and technical documents, providing solutions and clarifications when required.
Assign tasks and monitor the progress of site engineers and supervisors. Fully Responsible for Site Progress.
Provide quantity take-offs to the QS department and assist in reviewing valuations and claims.
Identify & Propose Value Engineering in comparison to project design, BOQ & Scope
Responsible for complete testing & commissioning activities by coordinating with related manufacturers, Suppliers, Specialists & other trades …
