Our Client

Our client, a high-end luxury company, seeks to employ a Branch Finance Controller.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee daily sales reconciliation and cash/banking procedures for the branch.
Monitor branch expenses against budget and investigate variances.
Conduct spot checks on stocks and ensure adherence to financial policies.
Support internal and external audit processes by providing required documentation.
Verify the accuracy of invoices and payment vouchers.
Ensure timely remittance of daily sales proceeds to the bank.
Monitor the use of Point of Sale (POS) terminals and resolve transaction disputes.
Review and approve staff expenses claims for the branch.
Train branch staff on basic financial compliance and fraud prevention.
Prepare monthly branch performance reports for Head Office.

Requirements

B.Sc. or HND in Accounting, Finance, or Banking & Finance. Professional certification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) is highly desirable.
Minimum 4 years in retail finance or branch accounting.
Industry Background: Retail, Banking (Branch Operations), or Audit firms.
Strong knowledge of accounting principles (IFRS).
Internal control and compliance.
Cash management and reconciliation.
Integrity and high ethical standards.
Attention to detail.
Proficiency in accounting software.
Problem-solving and analytical skills.

Requirements
