Role Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Facilities & Security Support to support the efficient management of Husk Nigeria's facilities and security operations. This role is ideal for someone with foundational experience in facility and / or security management who is looking to develop their career in a fast-paced, impact-driven organization. The successful candidate will work closely with the Facilities & Security Coordinator to ensure safe, secure, and well-maintained office and site environments.
Key Responsibilities
Security Coordination Support
Support the coordination of site security across all operational locations.Assist with scheduling and monitoring security personnel activities.Help document and follow up on incidents, breaches, or safety risks.Coordinate with security personnel for visitor access, staff movements, and logistics.Participate in the development and rollout of security awareness training for staff.Administrative & Logistical Support
Maintain and update records of security assessments, facilities reports, and weekly situation reports.Assist in coordinating alarm systems, access control procedures, and emergency drills.Data & Communication
Assist in compiling and analyzing weekly security reports and facility status updates.Ensure accurate documentation of all processes and procedures for reference and audit purposes.Qualifications
A degree or diploma in Facility Management, Security Management, Business Administration, or related fields.2-5 years of relevant work experience, preferably in energy, telecom, banking, or logistics sectors.Basic knowledge of security protocols, and safety compliance.Strong organizational and communication skills.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.Ability to multitask and manage time effectively in a dynamic environment.High level of integrity, confidentiality, and a proactive attitude.Familiarity with rural operational contexts in Nigeria is an added advantage.Fluency in English; knowledge of local Nigerian languages is a plus.Willingness to travel to plant sites and rural areas as needed.Location and Travel
This role is based in North East & North Central Nigeria based on placement
Salary
Negotiable based on experience.
