Role Summary :

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Assistant Manager to support the daily operations of our bustling restaurant and lounge. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader with a proven track record in upscale food and beverage service, a keen eye for detail, and a passion for hospitality. You will play a key role in driving operational excellence, enhancing guest satisfaction, and leading our team to success.

Key Responsibilities :

Operational Management :

  • Oversee daily shift operations, ensuring seamless service between the restaurant, bar, and lounge areas.
  • Manage opening and closing procedures, including cash handling, reconciliation, and reporting.
  • Maintain impeccable standards of cleanliness, safety, and compliance with all health and safety regulations.
  • Coordinate with the kitchen team to ensure timely and high-quality food delivery.

Guest Experience & Service :

  • Act as the face of the establishment, proactively engaging with guests to ensure a world-class experience.
  • Resolve any guest complaints or issues promptly and professionally, turning challenges into opportunities for loyalty.
  • Implement and uphold service standards that reflect our brand's premium positioning.
  • Team Leadership & Development :

  • Supervise, train, and motivate front-of-house staff (servers, hosts, bartenders).
  • Assist in scheduling, payroll administration, and performance management.
  • Foster a positive, collaborative, and high-energy work environment.
  • Financial & Inventory Control :

  • Support in managing inventory levels for the bar and restaurant supplies.
  • Monitor labor costs and other operational expenses to assist in achieving financial targets.
  • Drive sales and contribute to strategies that increase average spend and repeat business.
  • Qualifications & Experience :

  • 3-4 years of experience in a supervisory or assistant manager role within a high-volume, full-service restaurant, lounge, or upscale bar.
  • A Bachelor's degree / HND in Hospitality Management or a related field is preferred.
  • In-depth knowledge of food and beverage operations, including inventory, cost control, and health & safety standards.
  • Strong financial acumen with experience in P&L understanding and managing KPIs.
  • Exceptional leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to inspire a team.
  • Impeccable personal presentation and professional demeanor.
  • Proficiency in point-of-sale (POS) systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
