Role Summary :
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Assistant Manager to support the daily operations of our bustling restaurant and lounge. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader with a proven track record in upscale food and beverage service, a keen eye for detail, and a passion for hospitality. You will play a key role in driving operational excellence, enhancing guest satisfaction, and leading our team to success.
Key Responsibilities :
Operational Management :
- Oversee daily shift operations, ensuring seamless service between the restaurant, bar, and lounge areas.
- Manage opening and closing procedures, including cash handling, reconciliation, and reporting.
- Maintain impeccable standards of cleanliness, safety, and compliance with all health and safety regulations.
- Coordinate with the kitchen team to ensure timely and high-quality food delivery.
Guest Experience & Service :
Act as the face of the establishment, proactively engaging with guests to ensure a world-class experience.Resolve any guest complaints or issues promptly and professionally, turning challenges into opportunities for loyalty.Implement and uphold service standards that reflect our brand's premium positioning.Team Leadership & Development :
Supervise, train, and motivate front-of-house staff (servers, hosts, bartenders).Assist in scheduling, payroll administration, and performance management.Foster a positive, collaborative, and high-energy work environment.Financial & Inventory Control :
Support in managing inventory levels for the bar and restaurant supplies.Monitor labor costs and other operational expenses to assist in achieving financial targets.Drive sales and contribute to strategies that increase average spend and repeat business.Qualifications & Experience :
3-4 years of experience in a supervisory or assistant manager role within a high-volume, full-service restaurant, lounge, or upscale bar.A Bachelor's degree / HND in Hospitality Management or a related field is preferred.In-depth knowledge of food and beverage operations, including inventory, cost control, and health & safety standards.Strong financial acumen with experience in P&L understanding and managing KPIs.Exceptional leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to inspire a team.Impeccable personal presentation and professional demeanor.Proficiency in point-of-sale (POS) systems and Microsoft Office Suite.Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.What We Offer :
