Job Description / Requirements
Responsibilities :
Documentation and posting of financial transactions into QuickBooks software.Daily Reconciliation of Income / sales received via Point of Sales (P.O.S) Machine, transfers, and Cash with the bank statement.Preparation of Monthly Bank Reconciliation Statements to be supervised by both FC and Finance Director.Assist in the branch inventory documentation and stock-taking exercise on weekly basis in conjunction with the branch manager.Ensuring daily Banking of Cash Sales and keeping of Bank Tellers.Maintaining financial records and keeping the accounting documents safe.Handling financial transactions by auditing documents.Safeguarding organization assets by carrying out regular spot checks.Updating weekly inventory Control file and sharing same with Office.Complete the Monthly closing process.Follow up with Credit Customers if applicable.Collecting Data, Preparing Balance Sheets, and Profit and Loss Accounts in conjunction with the Finance Controller.Directing the Cashiers by coordinating their activities and answering queries if any.Coordinate the activities of the storekeeper at the branch level in conjunction with the Branch Manager.Collation of Suppliers’ invoices on weekly basis.Preparation of branch staff payroll in conjunction with FC.Preparation of statutory returns e.g taxes, pension, etc schedules in conjunction with the FC and the Tax Consultant.Supply information needed by the FC for cash flow forecast.Any other job may be assigned by the CFO or Finance Director.Requirements :
Minimum of 4 years experience working in the Hospitality Industry.Academic qualification of a University degree preferably with a higher degree in a financial discipline or a professional qualification.Minimum of 4 years experience in the hospitality industry.Technology savvy with experience in the use of accounting and reporting softwareA successful track record in setting priorities; keen analytic, organization, and problem-solving skills that support and enable sound decision-making.Excellent Leadership with great team working skills.Must be proactive and a quick thinker with good analytical skills.Must be able to use Microsoft Office package efficiently.
