Location : Lagos / South West.

Reports to : Head of Sales

About Company : Our client is a fast-growing digital pharmaceutical infrastructure company operating across West Africa, committed to enhancing access, efficiency, and trust within the pharmaceutical value chain. The company delivers technology-driven solutions that empower pharmacies and healthcare providers to serve their communities more effectively across Africa.

Job Summary :

The client is looking to hire a result-oriented Regional Sales manager who will be responsible for driving the sales performance and market penetration of the company’s portfolio within the assigned region. S / he will lead, develop, and manage a team of Medical Sales Representatives (MSRs), implement go-to-market strategies, build strong customer relationships, and ensure consistent achievement of revenue and growth objectives.

Key Responsibilities :

Sales & Business Development :

§   Achieve regional sales targets and growth objectives for all the company's product lines.

§   Develop and execute regional sales strategies to maximize market share and profitability.

§   Identify new business opportunities, key accounts, and partnerships within the region.

§   Monitor competitor activities and market trends to inform business strategy.

Team Leadership & Management :

§   Recruit, train, coach, and motivate a high-performing team of Medical Sales Representatives.

§   Conduct regular field visits, performance reviews, and on-the-job mentoring.

§   Foster a results-oriented and collaborative team culture aligned with the company's values.

Customer Relationship Management :

§   Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including pharmacies, hospitals, distributors, and healthcare professionals.

§   Ensure effective territory coverage and customer satisfaction.

§   Manage escalations and provide timely solutions to client needs and inquiries.

Reporting & Analytics :

§   Track sales metrics, analyze performance, and provide regular reports to the Head of Sales.

§   Ensure accurate and timely data capture via the company’s digital platforms.

§   Provide market intelligence and actionable insights to support national strategy.

Compliance & Brand Representation :

§   Ensure adherence to company policies, ethical standards, and regulatory requirements.

§   Represent the company professionally in all engagements, meetings, and events.

Uphold brand image and promote the company’s mission of safe, trusted, and accessible medicines

Requirements

§   Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy, Life Sciences, Business Administration, or related field.

§   Minimum of 5–7 years of experience in pharmaceutical sales, with at least 2 years in a managerial capacity.

§   Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.

§   Strong leadership, coaching, and interpersonal skills.

§   Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation abilities.

§   Good knowledge of regional pharmaceutical markets, distribution channels, and healthcare dynamics.

§   Proficiency in CRM tools and Microsoft Office Suite.

§   Must be willing to travel extensively within the region.

§   Achievement of regional sales targets and market share growth.

§   Team performance and productivity metrics.

§   New customer acquisition and retention rates.

§   Quality of field execution and reporting accuracy.

§   Compliance with company and regulatory standards.

Benefits

Compensation : Base pay ranges BTW N600k – N700K Monthly Net + Commission + other interesting benefits
