Karsto Global Resources Limited is a wholly owned indigenous Oil and Gas Company located in Port Harcourt and established with a view to rendering quality onshore / offshore services in the West African sub region.

We are recruiting to fill the position below :

Job Position : Senior Project Engineer

Job Location :   Port Harcourt, Rivers

Employment Type : Full-time

Main Responsibilities

• Responsible for scheduling, conducting and coordinating the technical and managerial aspect of projects
• Prepare, coordinate, and monitor a project, from the initial conception to the schedule and final completion whether onshore, offshore or swamp
• Involved with the planning and forecasting of budgets and timelines to assure that the project is accurately completed to schedule
• Assign tasks and responsibilities to members of the team so that everything is completed on time. This involves mentoring the project team and managing its performance
• Ensure accurate and timely reporting standards are maintained throughout the project(s)
• Monitoring project status’ reports and change orders
• Perform quality control checks throughout all stages of the schedule to ensure budgets are kept, deadlines are met, and the performance of the team is as it should be
• Comply with quality policy in line with ISO 9001 : 2015 standard
• Ensure safety and QA / QC programs are established by all parties and maintained and conduct reviews of detailed design drawing and specifications
• Accountable for the successful completion of engineering projects
• Participate in Client / Contractor meetings and resolving Client / Engineering and management project issues
• Identify engineering problems and ensure solutions are implemented
• Evaluate, organise and prioritise workload within a schedule
• Liaise with third party contractors to ensure all equipment are fit for purpose
• Head the site HSE meeting / discussion and attend the morning pep talk before start of work
• Attend safety meetings when programmed
• Investigate and give firsthand information / details on all accidents on the site
• Conduct check on the personal protective equipment and encourage their use
• Head the incident investigation team
• Wear appropriate PPE on site
• Stop any work that can potentially harm people, assets or the environment
• Be responsible for protection of lives and assets of the company.
