We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Academics to lead our educational and training initiatives. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in designing, implementing, and overseeing all academic programs, ensuring they align with industry standards and evolving technological trends. This position requires a visionary leader who can drive curriculum innovation, manage faculty teams, and shape the strategic direction of our academic division.
Key Responsibilities
1. Academic Leadership & Strategy
- Develop and implement a comprehensive academic strategy aligned with the company’s vision and current technological trends.
- Ensure that all programs, courses, and training modules meet industry standards and accreditation requirements.
- Drive innovation in tech education by integrating emerging technologies into the curriculum.
2. Curriculum & Program Development
Design and supervise cutting-edge curricula that equip learners with in-demand tech skills.Continuously update academic content to reflect industry best practices and technological advancements.Lead the development of certification programs, bootcamps, and workshops across multiple tech disciplines.Ensure the inclusion of practical learning components such as internships, hands-on labs, and real-world projects.3. Faculty & Team Management
Recruit, train, and manage academic staff to deliver top-tier educational experiences.Conduct regular faculty evaluations and implement ongoing training and professional development initiatives.Foster a culture of academic excellence, research, and continuous improvement.4. Quality Assurance & Compliance
Establish and maintain academic policies, procedures, and performance metrics.Ensure compliance with education regulatory bodies, accreditation standards, and internal policies.Monitor and improve student learning outcomes, course effectiveness, and instructor performance.Implement structured feedback systems to enhance academic quality based on industry needs and student assessments.5. Industry & Stakeholder Engagement
Build and maintain partnerships with tech companies and industry experts to improve program credibility and expand student opportunities.Represent the organization at academic conferences, forums, and networking events.Collaborate with internal departments to ensure academic initiatives support broader business goals and market demands.Requirements
B.Sc or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Education, or a related field.5–10 years of experience in an academic leadership role, ideally within a technology-focused environment.Proven expertise in curriculum development, instructional design, and faculty management.Strong understanding of emerging technologies, industry trends, and modern tech education methodologies.Experience with e-learning platforms, online course design, and digital learning tools.Familiarity with accreditation processes, regulatory requirements, and industry certification standards.Key Skills & Competencies
