Job Summary
The SRH Research Officer will support the design, implementation, and dissemination of research, monitoring, evaluation, accountability, and learning (MEAL) activities related to Sexual and Reproductive Health (SRH) programs.The role ensures that high-quality data is generated, analyzed, and used to improve program effectiveness, inform decision-making, and contribute to evidence-based SRH interventions.Support the design and implementation of SRH research studies, including baseline, midline, and endline assessments.Contribute to the development of research protocols, data collection tools, and ethical approval documentationConduct qualitative and quantitative data collection related to SRH outcomesSupport operational research and learning initiatives to strengthen SRH programmingEnsure research activities comply with ethical standards, safeguarding, and confidentiality requirementsSupport the development and implementation of MEAL frameworks, indicator tracking tools, and data collection systems for SRH programs.Monitor progress against SRH program indicators and logframesConduct routine data quality assessments (DQAs)Support evaluations and learning reviews of SRH interventionsSupport the implementation of accountability mechanisms, including community feedback and complaint response systemsAnalyze MEAL and research data to generate actionable insights and lessons learnedContribute to learning products such as reports, briefs, presentations, and dashboardsSupport dissemination of research findings to internal and external stakeholdersPromote a culture of evidence-based learning within SRH programsEnsure timely and accurate reporting of MEAL and research findingsSupport capacity building of field staff on data collection tools and MEAL processesCoordinate with partners, consultants, and stakeholders involved in SRH research and MEAL
