Operate and monitor utility systems including generators, boilers, chillers, compressors, water treatment plants, HVAC systems, and distribution networks .
Carry out routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and basic troubleshooting of utility equipment.
Record and log operating parameters (pressure, temperature, flow, load, fuel consumption, etc.) and escalate abnormalities promptly.
Respond to utility-related breakdowns and support corrective maintenance activities.
Assist in start-up, shutdown, and changeover of utility systems as required by production.
Ensure compliance with HSE, statutory, and company standards always.
Maintain good housekeeping of utility areas and equipment.
Support contractors during servicing, overhauls, and inspections.
Report incidents, near misses, and unsafe conditions promptly.
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance energy efficiency and reliability.
Requirements
Qualifications & Experience
Minimum of OND / Technical Diploma or Trade Test in Mechanical, Electrical, or related Engineering discipline.
2–5 years hands-on experience in an industrial utility's environment (manufacturing FMCG, process plant).
Basic knowledge of electrical systems, pumps, motors, valves, and mechanical systems .
Experience with generators, boilers, compressors, chillers, or water treatment systems is a necessity.
