About the Role :

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Corporate Lawyer to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will possess a solid background in corporate law and a strong understanding of the legal frameworks governing business operations in Nigeria. This role involves providing expert legal advice, ensuring regulatory compliance, and representing the company in legal proceedings under the guidance of the Head of Legal.

Key Responsibilities :

• Provide legal counsel and support across various departments on corporate legal matters.
• Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, agreements, and other legal documents.
• Ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements.
• Identify and mitigate legal risks related to business operations.
• Represent the company in legal proceedings, hearings, or negotiations.
• Assist in the development and implementation of internal policies and procedures.
• Conduct legal research and analysis to support decision-making.
• Advise on tax-related legal matters (knowledge of taxation is preferred).
• Collaborate with the Head of Legal to support broader legal strategies and initiatives.
