Exceptional attention to detail and strong analytical skills. Willingness to travel / relocate to other African countries as required by the business.

Location : Lagos (willing to travel to other French speaking African countries)
Salary : #350,000 net (Negotiable)
Position Overview :
Our client is seeking a skilled and dynamic French-speaking Accountant to join their team. The ideal candidate will play a key role in managing and overseeing accounting functions, ensuring financial integrity, and maintaining compliance with accounting standards.
Key Responsibilities :
- Perform accounting duties including bookkeeping, budgeting, and financial reporting.
- Ensure compliance with local and international accounting standards (e.g., IFRS, GAAP).
- Work closely with senior management to assess financial risks and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Communicate effectively with French-speaking stakeholders and clients, ensuring smooth coordination and clarity in financial matters.
- Assist in the preparation and review of financial statements, audits, and tax filings.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams across different regions to provide financial support and insights.
- Manage the budgeting process and oversee financial controls within the organization.
- Ensure timely and accurate reporting of financial data in line with company policies and regulatory requirements.
Key Qualifications :
Ability to speak French is a must.
