Job Title : Graduate Intern Accountant

Location : Lagos

Eligibility Criteria :

Must hold a minimum of a Second Class Upper Division (2 : 1) or Upper Credit in HND / BSc in Accounting, Finance, or any related field from a recognized institution.
0-2 years of relevant work experience in an accounting or finance role.
Applicants must not be older than 28 years at the time of application.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and numerical skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software is an added advantage.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities :

Assist in the preparation of financial statements, reports, and budgets.

Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records and documentation.

Reconcile bank statements and manage daily accounting tasks.

Support the finance team in audits, tax preparation, and compliance functions.

Ensure adherence to accounting policies, standards, and regulations.

Participate in monthly and year-end financial close processes.

Preferred Qualifications :

HND / BSc in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline.

Ongoing or completed professional certification (e.g., ICAN, ACCA) is an added advantage.

Knowledge of accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, or SAP will be a plus.
