Job description

Our client is a foremost organization in Nigeria's oil, gas and energy sector, is seeking an HR supervisor who will be working with HR Manager to oversee HR operations, ensuring compliance with policies, labor laws, and company standards.

Key Roles & Responsibilities :

Recruitment & Onboarding

Coordinate end-to-end recruitment processes, including sourcing, interviewing, and selection.

Ensure smooth onboarding and orientation of new hires, providing necessary training and documentation.

Employee Relations & Compliance

Act as a point of contact for employee concerns and fostering a positive work environment.

Ensure compliance with labor laws, company policies, and industry regulations.

Conduct investigations and disciplinary actions where necessary.

Performance Management & Training

Support the implementation of performance management systems, including goal setting and appraisals.

Identify training needs and coordinate learning and development programs.

HR Operations & Administration

Maintain accurate employee records, HR databases, and reports.

Support payroll processing, benefits administration, and leave management.

Continuously improve HR processes for efficiency and effectiveness.

Ability to track, analyze, and interpret HR data to inform decision-making.

Employee Engagement & Culture

Promote a positive workplace culture by organizing engagement activities and initiatives.

Support diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) programs.

Any other assignments as assigned

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.

Human Resource certification is an added advantage

5+ years of HR experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.

Strong knowledge of labor laws, HR policies, and best practices.

Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.

Attention to detail and accuracy

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to build and maintain relationships
