Our client is on a mission to democratize dependable transportation across Africa and beyond. We are searching for a Head of Finance, the strategic architect who will fuel their growth engine.
For over eight years, they have used technology to transform urban mobility. Now, we need a financial leader who can balance the precision of "mission control" with the vision of a "co-pilot". This isn't just about balancing books; it’s about capital raising, debt structuring, and building the financial frameworks that allow a high-growth startup to scale without losing its footing.

Your Responsibilities…
Financial Strategy & Capital Raising
- You will serve as the CEO’s right hand, executing a financial strategy that aligns perfectly with their global scaling objectives.
- You will lead the charge on future funding rounds—from building complex financial models to managing high-stakes investor relations.
- You will manage the "mission control" of capital allocation, ensuring that their cash flow and scenario planning are always ahead of the curve.
FP&A and Operational Excellence
- You will lead the budgeting and forecasting processes, turning raw data into actionable insights that guide executive decision-making.
- You will build and lead a high-performing finance team, establishing gold-standard controls for accounting, tax, and global compliance.
- You will implement the robust systems needed for reporting and expense management, ensuring that "if it wasn’t documented, it didn’t happen."
Governance & Risk Management
- You will implement risk management strategies that safeguard the company’s assets as we enter new, competitive markets.
- You will ensure meticulous adherence to all regulatory and financial requirements, keeping Shuttlers audit-ready and beyond reproach.

- Successfully navigating funding rounds and optimizing debt structures to support rapid expansion.
- Establishing a rhythm of business where monthly and quarterly reporting is seamless and insight-heavy.
- Achieving high marks for financial integrity and seeing your strategic advice translate into sustainable, long-term growth.
- Building a finance function that is so robust it can scale from Lagos to any city in the world without a hitch.
To be considered for this role you should have…
- 8+ years in finance leadership, with at least 3+ years as a Head of Finance in a startup or high-growth tech environment.
- A proven track record of successfully raising capital and managing complex investor relations.
- Deep expertise in FP&A, cash flow management, and financial reporting. (Familiarity with SaaS or mobility metrics is a significant plus).
- A CPA, CFA, or MBA in Finance is highly preferred.
- You can explain complex financial jargon to non-finance stakeholders and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
