Inventory Specialist

Job Description

Frutta, a leading manufacturing company based in Lagos, is seeking to seeking a detail-oriented Inventory Specialist with expertise in SAP to manage and optimize inventory processes at Frutta Juice & Services. This role is focused on inventory tracking, variance analysis, stock reconciliation, and cost optimization. The ideal candidate does not need to be an accountant but should possess strong analytical skills, experience in SAP (MM, PP modules), and knowledge of inventory control processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate inventory records, ensuring all stock movements (receipts, transfers, consumption, and adjustments) are properly recorded in SAP ERP .
• Perform regular stock reconciliations between physical inventory and system records, identifying and resolving variances.
• Analyze Material Usage Variance (MUV) and other inventory performance metrics, providing insights to management.
• Collaborate with the warehouse and production teams to ensure real-time updates on stock levels.
• Monitor and report on slow-moving, obsolete, and excessive stock , making recommendations for optimization.
• Support month-end and year-end inventory audits, ensuring compliance with company policies.
• Generate and analyze inventory reports using Microsoft Excel, Power BI, and SAP ERP .
• Work with procurement and finance teams to align inventory records with purchasing and costing data.
