Job Summary :
A leading restaurant in Wuse 2, Abuja is seeking 2 experienced and motivated Chefs to lead kitchen operations, ensure exceptional food quality, and maintain high standards of hygiene and presentation. The ideal candidates will have strong culinary skills, leadership abilities, and a passion for delivering outstanding dining experiences.
Key Responsibilities :
Lead daily kitchen operations and oversee food preparation.
Ensure high standards of food quality, presentation, and hygiene.
Supervise and train kitchen staff to maintain efficiency and performance.
Manage inventory, stock levels, and procurement of ingredients.
Collaborate with management to plan menus and develop new recipes.
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation standards.
Optimize kitchen workflow and scheduling.
Control food costs and minimize waste.
Coordinate with front-of-house staff to ensure smooth service.
Requirements :
Minimum of 4-6 years’ experience as a professional chef.
Culinary degree or diploma is an advantage.
Strong knowledge of cooking techniques, kitchen equipment, and food safety standards.
Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Creativity and passion for developing innovative dishes.
Proficiency with kitchen management systems and inventory tools is a plus.
