The ideal candidate will design, implement, and oversee all academic programs, ensuring alignment with global industry standards and emerging technological trends. This role combines curriculum leadership, faculty management, quality assurance, and strategic academic planning.
- Key Responsibilities
- 1. Academic Leadership & Strategy
- Develop and implement a comprehensive academic strategy aligned with the organization’s vision and current technology trends.
- Ensure all programs meet industry standards, accreditation requirements, and global best practices.
- Drive continuous innovation in tech education and integrate emerging technologies into learning pathways.
- 2. Curriculum & Program Development
- Design and oversee modern, industry-relevant curricula that equip learners with in-demand tech skills.
- Continuously update academic content to reflect current best practices.
- Lead development of certification programs, bootcamps, workshops, and short courses.
- Ensure integration of hands-on learning, including internships, projects, and practical assessments.
- 3. Faculty & Team Management
- Recruit, mentor, and manage academic staff to deliver high-quality instruction.
- Conduct faculty evaluations, provide training, and drive professional development initiatives.
- Build a culture of academic excellence, innovation, and continuous improvement.
- 4. Quality Assurance & Compliance
- Establish and maintain academic policies, procedures, and performance metrics.
- Ensure compliance with education regulatory bodies, accreditation standards, and internal policies.
- Monitor student learning outcomes and course effectiveness, using data to inform strategic improvements.
- Implement robust feedback mechanisms to guide program enhancements.
- 5. Industry & Stakeholder Engagement
- Build partnerships with tech companies and industry leaders to enhance program relevance and graduate employability.
- Represent the organization at conferences, forums, and industry events.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure alignment between business goals and academic initiatives.
- Requirements
- B.Sc. or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Education, or a related field.
- 5–10 years of experience in an academic leadership role—preferably within a technology-driven or EdTech environment.
- Proven experience in curriculum development, instructional design, and faculty management.
- Strong understanding of emerging technologies, education trends, and modern learning methodologies.
- Experience with e-learning platforms, online course development, and digital learning tools.
- Familiarity with accreditation processes, regulatory standards, and industry certifications.
