Accountant

for one of our clients in the Logistics sector.

REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

Professional certification (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CPA) is an added advantage.

Minimum of 3 years of relevant accounting experience.

Proficient in Excel (including pivot tables, VLOOKUP, SUMIFS, charts, and formulas).

Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines.

LOCATION

: Ogun state

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES

Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual management accounts and financial reports.

Assist in the preparation of tax returns and compliance documentation.

Develop and monitor budgets and forecasting models.

Track, analyze, and report on cash flow trends and financial performance.

Ensure timely and accurate reconciliation of general ledger accounts.

Assist with financial audits and ensure compliance with statutory regulations.

Utilize Excel to perform data analysis, pivot tables, and advanced financial modeling.

Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with financial regulations.

Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and trial balances.

Utilize accounting software to manage financial transactions and produce detailed reports.

Reconcile bank statements and manage general ledger accounts.

Support the finance team in budget preparation & financial forecasting.

Handle accounts receivable and payable, ensuring timely and accurate payments.
