Introduction to the role

In partnership with our client, we are seeking a Growth Marketing Lead to serve as the architect of brand development, user acquisition, and market expansion for a trailblazing fintech startup building a smart wealth management platform. You will be a pivotal strategic partner responsible for taking the company from 0 to 1 executing go-to-market strategy, refining brand identity, and owning strategic initiatives across performance marketing, product marketing, content, community engagement, events, activations, and partnerships. If you are a growth-driven marketer who can combine storytelling with analytics to scale products and build high-performing teams, we want to meet you.

  • You are a strategic marketer who sees the story behind the numbers, using analytics to drive high-velocity growth and creating a culture of structured experimentation and iteration.
  • You are a fintech enthusiast with extensive knowledge of marketing strategies, channels, and branding, specifically understanding how to scale products from zero to one.

Your Responsibilities…

Strategic Growth & Market Entry

  • You will shape the effort to take the company from 0 to 1 through brand development, user acquisition, and engagement.
  • You will align mission, vision, and strategic objectives with a deep understanding of core user personas, ensuring that all internal and external communications align with brand essence, add value to clients, and drive inbound traffic towards profitable business action.
  • You will design and execute go-to-market strategy, focusing on rapid user acquisition and brand visibility.
  • You will own the growth funnel, analyzing metrics to optimize conversion rates, customer retention, and overall ROI.
  • You will continuously collect data about different customer segments and personas, leveraging extensive research and analysis to devise strategies to acquire, retain, and engage users.
  • Brand & Performance Marketing

  • You will lead the marketing department, providing strategic direction for product marketing, content creation, and community engagement.
  • You will lead data-driven marketing campaigns, evaluating performance metrics and leveraging analytics to optimize ROI.
  • You will develop and coordinate promotional campaigns, PR, and other multi-channel marketing efforts.
  • You will act as the guardian of brand integrity, ensuring communication is consistent, professional, and inspiring across all platforms.
  • You will select appropriate tools that facilitate execution of content strategies and data-driven marketing across planning, publication, and analytics.
  • Product-Led Growth & Community Engagement

  • You will develop strategies for product-led growth in collaboration with product teams to facilitate action, reduce churn, and drive growth of core metrics users, active users, deposits, commission, and revenue.
  • You will develop creative ideas on how to engage the audience online and offline, organizing various initiatives to cultivate and grow engagement within the community.
  • Partnerships & Market Intelligence

  • You will identify and secure key partnerships that accelerate credibility and reach within the fintech ecosystem.
  • You will keep up to date with market developments and analyze consumer insights as well as competitor strategies, reporting on these monthly.
  • Leadership & Team Building

  • You will mentor and guide a team of product marketers, designers, and content creators to deliver cohesive, high-impact campaigns.
  • You will recruit a high-performing team to help achieve strategic objectives.
  • You will make note of and advocate for all necessary resources - humans, tools, finances as appropriate to growing your team to advance the company's mission and efficiently accomplish objectives.
  • You will work closely with the CEO and CCO to align marketing efforts with the company's broader commercial goals.
  • You will be an exemplary leader contributing to the company culture of efficiency, optimization, excellence, and ownership.
  • Planning & Reporting

  • You will prepare and execute quarterly and monthly growth strategy plans.
  • You will prepare monthly reports detailing actions, metrics, insights, and market landscape.
  • What Success looks like…

  • Successfully launch and establish a measurable brand presence within the first 6 months.
  • Achieve a 20% month-on-month growth in new user sign-ups through optimized marketing channels.
  • Implement engagement strategies that maintain a high retention rate for newly acquired enterprise and individual users.
  • Secure at least 3 high-impact strategic partnerships that directly contribute to lead generation and revenue growth.
  • Establish a culture of structured experimentation and data-driven decision-making across the marketing function.
  • Build and lead a high-performing marketing team that consistently delivers results.
  • To be considered for this role you should have…

  • A proven track record in growth marketing or brand management within the Fintech or Finance industry.
  • Extensive knowledge of marketing strategies, channels, and branding.
  • Digital marketing experience in website, mobile app, and online campaign flow development.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with demonstrably impressive copywriting ability.
  • Strong analytical thinker with proven ability to translate data into creative, results-oriented marketing strategies.
  • Advanced competency with social media management, web analytics, and SEO for digital platforms.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience, having managed teams or departments in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience in 0 to 1 growth, knowing how to market a brand that is just starting out in a new region.
  • Excited about marketing possibilities in new technologies and emerging trends.
  • Creativity and penchant for business strategy; comfortable taking risks and working outside the box, adopting unusual methods to yield out-of-this-world results.
  • Highly organized, with a strong sense of prioritization and efficient time management.
