Job Summary :
The Driver is responsible for the safe transportation of staff, clients, and company goods to designated destinations. The role involves maintaining the assigned vehicle in excellent working condition, adhering to all traffic regulations, and ensuring timeliness, safety, and professionalism at all times.
Key Responsibilities :
Safely transport staff, clients, and visitors to and from specified locations in a timely manner.
Ensure the vehicle is always clean, properly maintained, and in good working condition.
Conduct routine checks on the vehicle (oil, water, brakes, tires, lights, etc.) before and after each trip.
Promptly report any mechanical issues, accidents, or vehicle damage to the Admin or HR Department.
Adhere strictly to all traffic laws, company safety policies, and driving regulations.
Keep accurate records of vehicle usage, fuel consumption, and service schedules.
Assist with loading and unloading of materials or documents when required.
Maintain a logbook of all trips, destinations, mileage, and passengers.
Plan routes and ensure timely arrival at destinations while avoiding unnecessary delays.
Ensure all necessary documents (driver’s license, insurance, vehicle papers) are valid and up to date.
Perform any other duty assigned by the supervisor or management.
Qualifications and Requirements :
Minimum of SSCE / OND certificate.
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
Minimum of 3–5 years proven driving experience (corporate or executive driving preferred).
Good knowledge of road safety regulations and Lagos or other city routes.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and demonstrate professionalism at all times.
Punctual, reliable, and safety-conscious.
Basic vehicle maintenance knowledge.
