Manager, Commercial Practice

Skills and Competencies :

• In-depth understanding of the Nigerian Finance Act provisions.
• Experience in preparing monthly payroll and processing employee data for clients.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to build relationships with clients personnel and regulatory bodies.
• Proven leadership and project management abilities.
• Previous experience in handling disputes arising from tax audits or investigations.
• Thorough understanding of immigration compliance requirements.
• Ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders at all levels within the firm.
• Proficiency in tax structuring computations (including deferred tax) and tax due diligence.
• A minimum of 6 years in an accounting firm
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office packages - Excel PowerPoint Word etc.
• The possession of ICAN / ACCA certification
• Maintain excellent oral written and presentation skills.
• Ability to work independently but also work well with others.
• Excellent negotiating skills.
• A minimum of a Second Class (Upper) degree from an accredited university.
• A minimum of 5 O level credits including English Language and Mathematics at one sitting.
