Abuja Continental Hotel is seeking a professional, customer-oriented, and well-presented Hotel Receptionist / Waiter / Waitress to join our Front Office team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional guest service from the moment of arrival to departure, ensuring that every guest experiences the signature Belmont standard of hospitality.
Responsibilities :
- Warmly welcome guests upon arrival and provide smooth check-in and check-out services.
- Handle room reservations, inquiries, and requests through phone, email, and walk-ins.
- Maintain accurate guest records and ensure proper documentation using the hotel’s PMS.
- Assist guests with hotel information, amenities, services, and local area recommendations.
- Coordinate with housekeeping, concierge, and other departments to fulfil guest needs.
- Manage payments, invoices, and billing processes efficiently and accurately.
- Address and resolve guest concerns or issues courteously and promptly.
- Uphold front desk cleanliness, organization, and a professional appearance at all times.
- Ensure adherence to hotel policies, safety procedures, and service standards.
- Promote hotel services, facilities, and special offers to enhance guest satisfaction.
Qualifications :
Senior High School graduate or College level / graduate in Hospitality Management or any related field.Previous experience as a hotel receptionist or in a customer service role is an advantage.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Strong interpersonal skills and a friendly, welcoming attitude.Proficient in basic computer applications and hotel reservation systems (experience with PMS is a plus).Ability to multitask, work under pressure, and handle guest concerns professionally.Flexible schedule; willing to work shifting hours, weekends, and holidays.Well-groomed, organized, and service-oriented.What We Offer :
