Summary
The Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I) Technician is responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical and instrumentation systems to support safe and reliable plant operations. This role provides hands-on technical support for equipment, control systems, and instrumentation devices.
Key Responsibilities
Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, panels, motors, and control systems.
Calibrate, test, and troubleshoot field instruments such as sensors, transmitters, switches, and gauges.
Support preventive and corrective maintenance activities for E&I systems.
Assist in commissioning and testing of new equipment and systems.
Monitor and support in generator operation and maintenance
Diagnose faults in PLCs, motor control centers, and instrumentation loops.
Carryout troubleshooting and maintenance on packaging machines
Ensure all work is carried out safely and in compliance with standards and regulations.
Maintain accurate maintenance records, reports, and equipment history.
Provide support during plant shutdowns, turnarounds, and projects.
Requirements
BSC or HND Certificate in Electrical, Instrumentation Engineering.
Min of 5 years Proven experience as an Electrical and Instrumentation Engineer
Knowledge of gas / diesel generators
Knowledge of PLCs, sensors, actuators, and field instrumentation.
Familiarity with electrical systems, wiring, motors, and control panels.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Good communication and teamwork abilities.
Work Conditions
Field-based role with hands-on work in industrial environments.
May require shift work, overtime, and availability during emergencies.
