Key Responsibilities
1. Cleaning and Maintenance
Sweep, mop, vacuum, and dust floors, carpets, furniture, and fixtures.
Clean and sanitize restrooms, including toilets, sinks, mirrors, and floors.
Empty trash cans and replace liners; ensure proper disposal of waste and recyclables.
Wash windows, glass doors, and other surfaces as required.
Restock supplies such as soap, paper towels, and toilet tissue.
2. Facility Upkeep
Ensure hallways, entrances, and common areas are tidy and free from debris or hazards.
Clean and disinfect high-touch surfaces regularly (e.g., door handles, light switches).
Report maintenance issues such as leaks, broken fixtures, or safety hazards to the supervisor.
Assist with minor repairs, painting, or furniture arrangement as needed.
3. Equipment and Supplies
Operate cleaning equipment (e.g., vacuum cleaners, floor polishers, buffers) safely and efficiently.
Maintain cleaning tools and supplies in good working condition.
Monitor inventory and inform the supervisor when cleaning materials need replenishment.
4. Safety and Compliance
Follow health, safety, and sanitation policies and procedures.
Use cleaning chemicals and materials according to safety guidelines (MSDS).
Ensure secure storage of cleaning supplies and equipment.
5. Other Duties
Set up rooms or areas for meetings, events, or special functions.
Assist in emergency clean-ups such as spills or weather-related incidents.
Perform other related duties as assigned by management.
