Our client is a collateral-free trade finance company that provides quick, short-term funding solutions to businesses across Nigeria’s trade and supply chain sectors. They are seeking Growth Officers to drive sales, identify new business opportunities, and build strong relationships with merchants. The location is  Ibadan, Oyo State.
Job Responsibilities
As a Sales Officer, your primary role will be to acquire new merchants and generate revenue. You will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies, identifying new business opportunities, and building strong relationships with merchants.
- Acquire new merchants & manage existing merchant transactions (Draw down & Repayment)
 - Develop and implement sales strategies to acquire new merchants and generate revenue
 - Identify new business opportunities and develop plans to capitalize on them
 - Build and maintain strong relationships with merchants to ensure their satisfaction and loyalty
 - Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets
 - Conduct market research to identify potential customers and market trends
 - Prepare and deliver sales presentations to potential customers
 - Negotiate contracts and terms with merchants
 - Work closely with internal teams, including Risk & Compliance, Retention, Technical Support and Product to ensure a seamless user  experience
 - Continuously monitor and analyze sales performance and make recommendations for improvement
 
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, or related field is an added advantageAt least 2 years of experience in sales, business development, or a similar roleExperience in the transaction finance industry is a plusExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsStrong negotiation and closing skillsAbility to work independently and manage multiple prioritiesProficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM systems
