Job Summary :

  • We are looking for a qualified Legal Counsel to provide comprehensive legal support and advice to our organization. Responsibilities include drafting and reviewing legal documents, ensuring regulatory compliance, managing legal risks, and representing the company in legal proceedings as needed.

    • Key Responsibilities :

  • Legal Advisory : Provide expert legal advice on various matters, ensuring compliance with Nigerian laws and regulations.
  • Contract Management : Draft, review, and negotiate contracts and agreements.
  • Compliance : Ensure adherence to statutory and corporate governance practices.
  • Litigation Support : Assist in managing legal disputes and proceedings.
  • Legal Research : Conduct legal research to support company decisions.

    • Requirements :

  • Minimum LL.B and B.L (called to the Nigerian Bar)
  • 7-10 years of post-qualification experience in a reputable law firms, corporate legal departments or healthcare / legal roles.
  • Solid grounding in commercial law, contracts, corporate governance and litigation management
  • Experience working with regulated environments and / or with regulators.
  • Strong negotiation, drafting, analytical and communication abilities, with the capacity to present complex ideas clearly to non-legal stakeholders.
