Job Title: Credit Control Manager

Grade: 6

Location: Ilupeju, Lagos

Job Responsibilities:

• Reconciliation of customers balances where there are discrepancies detail and carry out investigation to ensure accounts show its true status.
• Credit assessment and release of approved credit.
• Credit utilization checks for all customers to inform credit limit review.
• Monitoring of trade debtor ageing analysis to ensure proper classification which forms the basis of bad and doubtful debt provision.
• Preparation of monthly balances and reconciliation of trade debtors across all SBUs Generate weekly/monthly credit control report for sales team and other stakeholders.
• Provide monthly advance notifications of potential doubtful or bad debt to all SBUs management.
• Responsible for the Integrity and accuracy of Receivables in the balance sheet.
• Management of credit sales in conjunction with the sales team and all intercompany requests.
• Monitoring and managing Tuck-shop and depot transporters account.
• The Credit Control section is responsible for the following:
• Reconciliation of Export ledger Ensure prompt settlement of export sales.
• Attending to all other functions related to credit control.

Qualifications:

• HND, Bsc. - Accountancy.
• Membership of Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN).
• Computer expertise especially in MS Word, MS Excel and PowerPoint

Technical/Professional Experience:

• 3–5 years’ work experience
• Working knowledge of at least one ERP (Sage, SAP etc.)
