Business Developer - POS

Job Summary: The Business Developer is responsible for identifying new business opportunities, managing key relationships, and driving revenue growth through strategic partnerships and merchant acquisition.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of the market, excellent negotiation skills, and the ability to deliver measurable results in a competitive environment.

Key Responsibilities: Identify and pursue new business opportunities across assigned regions and sectors.

Develop and maintain strong relationships with key merchants, partners, and stakeholders.

Drive the acquisition of new merchants while increasing transaction volumes and retention rates.

Conduct market research to identify trends, competitors, and potential growth areas.

Prepare and deliver sales presentations, proposals, and product demonstrations to prospective merchants.

Monitor and analyze merchant performance to ensure consistent engagement and growth.

Negotiate and close deals that align with company objectives and profitability targets.

Maintain accurate records of leads, opportunities, and sales reports.

Qualifications & Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Economics, or a related field 2–5 years proven experience in business development, sales, or merchant acquisition (preferably in fintech, or banking).

Strong understanding of payment systems, POS operations, and merchant management.

Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

Strong analytical and presentation skills.

Ability to work independently and meet deadlines under pressure.

Goal-oriented mindset with a passion for sales and business growth.

High level of professionalism, integrity, and accountability.

Preferred Skills: Experience managing large merchant portfolios or key accounts.

Familiarity with digital payment solutions, fintech products, and transaction data analytics.

Strong problem-solving ability and resilience in handling client challenges.
