Job Summary
The Electrical Manager is responsible for ensuring reliable, safe, and efficient electrical systems that sustain uninterrupted factory operations and support Matna's production discipline, quality standards, and cost efficiency.This role provides technical leadership over all electrical infrastructure, equipment, and power systems within the processing plant, ensuring that electrical reliability directly contributes to reduced downtime, optimal equipment performance, and stable production flow. The Electrical Manager works closely with Production, Maintenance, QA, and Safety teams to maintain a high-performance operating environment.Key Responsibilities
Lead the maintenance, reliability, and performance of all electrical systems, panels, motors, drives, and control systems within the plantEnsure stable power supply and proper load management to prevent production interruptionsPlan and implement preventive and corrective electrical maintenance to minimize equipment downtimeSupport production efficiency by ensuring electrical systems enable optimal equipment operation and process flowSupervise installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical equipment and upgradesEnforce strict electrical safety standards and compliance across all plant activitiesCollaborate with maintenance and production teams to quickly diagnose and resolve electrical faults affecting operationsMaintain accurate documentation of electrical systems, maintenance schedules, and technical recordsSupport energy management initiatives to reduce power waste and improve cost efficiencyGuide and supervise electrical technicians and contractors to ensure high technical standards and process disciplineEnsure availability of critical electrical spares and proper inventory managementRequirements and Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or HND in Electrical Engineering or related fieldMinimum of 812 years' experience in electrical maintenance within FMCG, food processing, agro-processing, or industrial manufacturingStrong experience with industrial motors, control panels, drives, PLC systems, and power distributionProven ability to manage electrical reliability in a factory or processing environmentGood understanding of preventive maintenance systems and equipment uptime managementStrong knowledge of electrical safety standards and compliance practicesExperience supervising technical teams and contractorsAbility to troubleshoot complex electrical issues under production pressureHigh level of technical discipline, attention to detail, and problem-solving capabilityProficiency in technical documentation and maintenance reporting
