Job role
The Duty Agent is primarily responsible for managing check- in queue and ensuring customers get service promptly for all bookings & check- in related activities. This role reports to Duty Officer
Answer inquiries regarding Green Africa ProductsEducate and enlighten customer on the new and existing products of the companyProvide customers with travel suggestions and information sources and respond to enquiriesInform customers of essential travel information, such as travel times, operating terminal etcFully trained on all aspects of Ticketing, fares, passenger services and Customer RelationsResponsible for post-departure activities and front-line documentAlways seek to secure Customer Loyalty by providing exceptional serviceResolution of Customer problems and ensuring that customers' needs are met adequatelyBook reservations and issue tickets to customers if there is a requirementPlan route and compute ticket cost, using schedules and computerMake ticket booking, quote fare, and send to direct customers by emailPrepare and forward daily sales report to the gLead at every close of shiftPrepare customer invoices and accept paymentRespond to enquiriesDetermines whether space is available on travel dates requested by customerMaintain accurate records and update PNR filesAny other duties and functions assigned by the gLeads Airport Manager / Duty ManagerQualifications
Bachelor's degree in any related fieldCreative and proactive personality with can do approachExceptional Communication and Interpersonal skillsTime flexibility and ability to travelHigh- level numeracy skillsStrong ability to pay attention to detail
