Procurement Officer

We are looking for a detail-oriented and reliable Procurement Officer to join our fabric brand. The Procurement Officer will be responsible for sourcing and purchasing work needs, as well as managing fabrics and related materials required for business operations. The role involves accurately measuring fabrics in yards and packaging customer orders, coordinating with logistics partners, and ensuring quality control and timely delivery of orders to customers. The Procurement Officer will also maintain cost-effective procurement processes while supporting the brand’s production and sales needs.

Requirements

Proven experience in procurement, purchasing, or store / warehouse operations

Good knowledge of fabrics, fabric measurements (yards), and fabric handling

Ability to accurately measure and package fabrics for customer orders

Experience coordinating with logistics or delivery partners

Strong attention to detail and quality control skills

Ability to manage orders and ensure timely delivery to customers

Good communication and negotiation skills

Basic computer skills (Excel, inventory systems, WhatsApp, email)

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Good organizational and time-management skills

Honest, reliable, and responsible work attitude

Added Advantage

Experience working in a fabric store or fashion business

Knowledge of inventory management and stock control.
