Job Summary :
We are seeking a highly experienced and technically proficient Head of Engineering to lead and oversee all engineering functions within our natural rubber manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and coordinating teams across mechanical, electrical, welding, forklift maintenance, and plumbing, ensuring efficient operation, safety, and uptime of critical plant machinery and infrastructure.
This role demands in-depth technical knowledge of key production equipment such as creepers, conveyor belts and buckets, ovens, electrical panels, and motors. The successful candidate will also play a strategic role in preventive maintenance planning, continuous improvement initiatives, and team leadership.
Key Responsibilities :
- Lead, manage, and coordinate the activities of the engineering department including mechanical, electrical, welding, forklift maintenance, and plumbing teams.
- Ensure optimal performance and reliability of production equipment such as :
o Creepers
o Conveyor belts and buckets
o Ovens and dryers
o Electrical panels and industrial motors etc.
