We’re partnering with a leading Marine Logistics and Engineering Services company to find a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Officer . This role is critical in driving revenue growth, expanding market presence, and securing high-value contracts within Nigeria’s oil and gas industry. What You’ll Do
- Strategic Sales Execution : Develop and implement annual sales strategies and business plans to achieve revenue and profitability targets.
- Market Development : Identify, qualify, and pursue new business opportunities with IOCs, NOCs, EPC contractors, and major construction firms.
- Tender & Contract Leadership : Lead end-to-end tender processes — from opportunity identification through proposal submission, negotiation, and contract award.
- Client Relationship Management : Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key decision-makers and influencers across client organizations.
- Market Intelligence : Monitor competitor activity, pricing, and service offerings to provide timely feedback and insights to senior management.
- Negotiation & Deal Structuring : Negotiate charter parties, master service agreements (MSAs), and other commercial contracts to secure profitable, sustainable deals.
- HSEQ Advocacy : Ensure all sales and business development activities comply with company and client HSEQ standards, promoting a safety-first culture.

Education : Bachelor’s degree in Business, Administration, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field.Experience : Minimum of 5 years’ proven sales experience , including at least 3 years in marine / offshore services within the Nigerian oil and gas sector.Competence : Excellent presentation, proposal writing, and negotiation skills.HSEQ Awareness : Sound understanding of HSEQ principles and compliance standards.Benefits
